Rishab Shetty to collaborate with producer Naga Vamsi

Kannada star Rishab Shetty, who has recently wrapped up shooting the highly anticipated, Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1, is now collaborating with Telugu producer Naga Vamsi’s production house Sithara Entertainment.

The film directed by Ashwin Gangaraju marks 36th production of the production house, and is touted to be a period drama.

Sharing the news, Naga Vamsi wrote on X: “Not all Rebels are forged in Battle. Some are chosen by Destiny. And this is that story of a Rebel.. Proudly announcing Sithara Ents Production No.36 with the versatile and dynamic Rishab Shetty garu. Directed by Ashwin Gangaraju.”

The film is set to be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Kannada, with dubbed versions planned for release in Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam.

The actor is also part of Prasanth Varma’s Jai Hanuman as lord Hanuman. Jai Hanuman is the next part of the PVCU after the humongous hit Hanu-Man.

Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1

The teaser of Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 released earlier showcases Rishab Shetty in a captivating Aghori avatar, embodying a distinct form of God Shiva’s avatar.

The film, while focusing on the traditions and customs of coastal Karnataka, including “Daiva“, “Bhoota Aradhane“, and the folk sport of Kambala, deals with the conflict between humans and nature.

Produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, Kantara – A Legend Chapter 1 is being made on a grander scale.

The technical team of Kantara are continuing working on the prequel too. Music will be composed by Ajaneesh Loknath and Aravind Kashyap will handle the cinematography.

Kantara -A Legend Chapter 1 will be released in multiple languages, including Kannada, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Bengali.

It is touted as one of the most anticipated prequels in the history of Indian cinema.
