The yet-to-be-titled film of Vijay, currently being referred to as Thalapathy 69 will be the last film of the actor, before he takes the complete political plunge.
The film, though still undershooting, and not much is known about the plot, has managed to garner huge anticipation among the cine-goers.
While Thalapathy 69 is going to be a star-studded venture, with Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde and others going to share the screen with Vijay, recently Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar in an interview revealed that he also was approached for a role in the film.
The actor is promoting his next release Bhairathi Ranagal.
According to reports, in a recent interview with Radio Mirchi, Shiva Rajkumar said, “They have approached me for a beautiful character in Vijay’s film. It sounds interesting, but I don’t know how it will shape up because of my dates. They are saying it’s Vijay’s last film, but I personally feel it should not be so. As a friend and well-wisher, I think Vijay is a fantastic actor and a good human being. The ambition that he has got is fantastic. I respect him for that. So I hope I freeze the project.”

He also mentioned that he will undergo surgery, most likely in the US, after two more sessions and have a month-long recovery period. However, Shiva Rajkumar reassured his fans that there is nothing to worry about and that he will fulfil his work commitments.
The Kannada actor previously worked alongside Rajinikanth and Dhanush in Jailer (2023) and Captain Miller (2024). He had also received applause for his performance and style.
Amid high expectations, the yet-to-be-titled film is slated for an October 2025 release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Apart from the basic details about the director and music composer, the makers have not revealed much.
While H Vinoth is directing the film, Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. It is being produced by KVN Productions.
