Kannada releases November 2023

The month of November is special for all Kannadigas due to the celebrations of Kannada Rajyotsava across the state, on 1 November. It is observed to mark the formation of Karnataka state.

Various Kannada organisations and bodies hold month-long events, and even the Kannada Film Industry joins the party with the release of big-budget movies starring star actors hitting the screens with full glory and fanfare.

This November, Sandalwood is set to witness a good mix of promising content-based projects along with mass entertainers.

Here’s the list of the Kannada movies scheduled to release in November.

Garadi

Director Yogaraj Bhat’s directorial Garadi is releasing on 10 November.

Censored with a UA certificate, the movie marks the return of actor-politician BC Patil to the silver screen.

The former minister plays a vital role in the Kannada film that revolves around the age-old sport of wrestling. The word “garadi” means the house of wrestlers, where they train themselves under mentors.

BC Patil’s wife Vanaja Patil produced Garadi under the banner of Kourava Production House.

It features Yashas Soorya and Sonal Monterio in the lead.

Challenging Star Darshan is also making a special guest appearance in the film. Harikrishna composed the music for this wrestler’s tale.

Though the makers of the Kannada film announced the date of release of its sequel, Side B of the film — the continuation of Side A — is releasing after 77 days and not as initially planned (after 7 weeks ie., 49 days).

Though the movie initially was noted for its slow pace, the romantic drama was received well by the audience. It even did well with its Telugu version in Telugu-speaking states.

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello-Side B, directed by Hemanth Rao, stars Rakshit Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, and Chaithra Achar in lead roles. It will also be released in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
