Jaragandi Jaragandi from Game Changer released

Ram Charan celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, 27 March,  by treating his fans to the first single —”Jaragandi” from Game Changer.

Sung by Daler Mehndi and Sunidhi Chauhan, the upbeat dance track features lively rhythms and vibrant visuals. It stars Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in colourful attire.

But apparently, the song didn’t make Telugu audiences groove. The reason is music composer S Thaman.

Thaman frequently finds himself targeted by online trolls. Criticism is often about his songs. Fans rue that his music lacks originality.

Film lovers feel that his tunes either resemble his past compositions or lack innovation.

Netizens wrote why producers like Dil Raju were encouraging Thaman when a pan-India flick like Game Changer is being made with Global Star Ram Charan.

Some wondered if Thaman’s career ended with Balakrishna’s Akhanda (2021).

Meanwhile, a few others opined that director Shankar should have roped in a music director from the Tamil industry rather than banking solely on Thaman.

In the comments below the lyrical video, people questioned why producers aren’t thinking out-of-the-box when there were many options like Yuvan Shankar Raja, Bheems Ceciroleo, Harris Jayaraj, and AR Rahman.

Meanwhile, marking his birthday, Ram Charan’s blockbuster film Magadheera (2009) was re-released in theatres.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, this action-packed thriller cemented Ram Charan’s position as a star in the Telugu film industry.

Now, 15 years later, Magadheera returns to entertain audiences once again.
