Director Jis Joy’s Thalavan is one of the eagerly-awaited films in Malayalam this year. The film has Biju Menon and Asif Ali playing the lead roles.
The makers released the official teaser of Thalavan on Thursday, 1 February.
The intriguing teaser gives a sneak peek into the thrilling journey of two police officers — played by Biju Menon and Asif Ali.
The film is about the ego clash between two police officers of different ranks and promises an edge-of-the-seat experience.
The investigative thriller has Dileesh Pothen in a pivotal role.
Anushree, Miya, Kottayam Nazeer, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Joji K John, Dinesh, Anuroop, Nandan Unni, and Bilas are also part of the cast.
Thalavan is bankrolled by Arun Narayan and Sijo Sebastian under the banner of Arun Narayan Productions in association with London Studios.
Sharath Perumbavoor and Anand Thevarakkattu are the scriptwriters.
Sharan Velayudhan is the cinematographer and Sooraj ES is the editor.
Thalavan is expected to be released in theatres soon.
Asif Ali and director Jis Joy teamed up again for this project after their successful films Sunday Holiday (2017), Vijay Superum Pournamiyum (2019), and Innale Vare (2021).
Asif Ali and Biju Menon earlier worked on Ordinary (2012) and Anuraga Karikkin Vellam (2016).
