Thankamani teaser dileep

An intriguing teaser of the Malayalam movie Thankamani, starring Dileep in the lead role, has been released by its makers.

It is touted to be a revenge drama.

Helmed by Ratheesh Reghunandan, the film is based on real-life incidents, which happened in Thankamani village in Idukki in 1986 involving a bus service and the legal and social issues that followed the incident.

The teaser gives the impression that the story is told in two different periods as actor Dileep is shown as a young man and an old man.

Thankamani also casts Neetha Pillai, Pranitha Subhash, Ajmal Amir, Siddique, Manoj K. Jayan, Kottayam Ramesh, Major Ravi, Santosh Keezhattur, Tomman Maankuva, Ramya Panicker, Mukthar, Shiva Kamee, John Vijay, and Sampath Ram in significant roles.

The shooting was held in various locations, including Poonjar, Eerattupetta, Kanjirappalli, Koottikal, Kuttikkanam, Peerumedu, Kattappana, and Kottayam CMS College.

Super Good Films and Ifaar Media jointly produced the film.

The music is composed by William Francis.

Manoj Pillai handled the cinematography.
