'Ika Na Maate' song from Sharwanand's 'Manamey' out

The upcoming Telugu venture, Manamey, marks the 35th film of actor Sharwanand. Directed by Sriram Adittya and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory, the movie features Krithi Shetty as the leading lady.

The makers launched the first single, “Ika Na Maate” from the film on Thursday, 28 March.

It was composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, who recently caught the attention of Tollywood with his mesmerising tunes in Vjay Deverakonda-Smantha’s Kushi (2023). He sang the song, too.

Krishna Chaitanya wrote the lyrics of the song. Shrasti Verma choreographed it.

Sharwanand looks trendy and stylish in the “Ika Na Maate” song. This “sassiest single anthem”, as claimed by the makers, was picturised in some stunning locales in London.

The “Ika Na Maate” song caught the fancy of the youth, especially college-goers and single people, with its catchy tune and simple dance moves.

Touted to be a family entertainer, Manamey also casts child artiste Vikram Adittya in a key role.

Prawin Pudi is the editor. The dialogues are penned by Arjun Carthyk, Tagore, and Venky.

The makers recently dropped the motion poster, which increased the curiosity among Shawanand’s fans about the film. The motion poster features the actor and child artiste Vikram Adittya.

They both stand atop a tall building, holding paint rollers. While the child gazes at the world below, Sharwanand looks on. The backdrop includes the London Bridge and the Thames River. Sharwanand appears stylish in a sweatshirt and track pants.

Meanwhile, Sharwanand’s next includes Sharwa36 with UV Creations under the direction of Abhilash Reddy Kankara and Sharwa37 with AK Entertainments under the direction of Ram Abbaraju.
