Hiphop Tamizha Adhi is coming up with a brand-new single, Poi Poi Poi, this Valentine’s Day, 14 February.

The rap number explores the complexities of love and the struggles that come with a romantic relationship.

Instead of romanticising love on this holiday, the track focuses on the pain of separation, unfaithfulness, and betrayal, and how it can impact one’s perspective on love and life.

The release of Poi Poi Poi will be accompanied by a music video featuring Adhi himself.

Adhi made his debut in the music industry in 2012 with the release of his first album: Hip Hop Tamizha. Since then, he has been actively involved in both the independent music scene and the Tamil film industry, composing music for several successful films.

He has also been recognised for his contributions to the music industry, receiving numerous awards and accolades.

Further, Adhi is busy shooting for his upcoming movie PT Sir, directed by Karthik Venugopal and starring Kashmira Pardeshi as the female lead. The cast also includes Anikha Surendran, Pandiarajan, and Thiagarajan.

The film stars Dhanush and Priyanka Arul Mohan in lead roles. Shiva Rajkumar is playing the antagonist. Sundeep Kishan will be seen in a significant role in the movie.

Set in the 1940s, the plot revolves around the revolution of LTTE activist Captain Miller.

GV Prakash is the music director. Shreyaas Krishna is the cinematographer and Nagooran is the editor.

Dhanush is eagerly anticipating the theatrical release of his bilingual movie Vaathi (in Tamil and Sir in Telugu) on 17 February.

The movie, directed by Venky Atluri, features Samyuktha (Menon) as the female lead.
