Actors Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi have become a celebrated combination after their sizzling on-screen chemistry in the hit film Fidaa (2017).
While Fidaa marked the debut of Sai Pallavi in Telugu, the actors have not collaborated since the release of Sekhar Kammula’s directorial.
In the film, Varun Tej portrayed the role of an NRI, while Sai Pallavi played a spirited Telangana “hybrid pilla”. Their combination became a runaway hit on the big screen.
Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for the duo to team up again.
When questioned about their possible combo, Varun Tej disclosed that plans are underway to make a film which would surpass what Fidaa had dished out.
Ahead of the release of his Operation Valentine, the actor interacted with the media on Tuesday, 27 February.
Varun Tej revealed that he and Sai Pallavi are looking to collaborate once again for a project. However, they both are looking for a story that would make an impact similar to Fidaa.
As of now, both actors are keenly exploring new scripts.
The actor also revealed that the makers of Gaddalakonda Ganesh (2019) are coming up with a sequel to the flick.
To a query, Varun replied that even if he gets an opportunity to act in a multi-starrer, he won’t do it if he does not like the story.
When asked with whom he wants to act, Varun Tej revealed that he wants to share the screen space with Nithiin and his cousin Sai Dharam Tej.
