On Saturday, 9 September, a video went viral where young actors Sunny Wayne and Lukman Avaran were seen engaged in a scuffle. They were landing punches on each other when some onlookers interfered to stop their fight.
Rumours spread that it could be a promotional video for a film. And yes, it’s official now. The actors were engaged in fighting to promote their upcoming Malayalam movie Turkish Tharkkam (Turkish Dispute).
Mammootty released the title poster of the flick which casts Sunny Wayne and Lukman Avaran in lead roles.
Many Malayalam actors shared the film’s title poster and motion poster on social media with the caption, “Let this controversy be good.”
According to its makers, Turkish Tharkkam shares a different theme which will be new for the Malayali audience.
The film is written and directed by Nawaz Sulaiman. Nadir Khalid and advocate Pradeep Kumar produced it jointly under the banner of Big Pictures.
Harisree Ashokan, Sujith Shankar, Amina Nijam, Sreerekha, Dayyana Hameed, and Jayashree are also part of the cast.
The editing is done by Noufal Abdullah and the cinematography by Abdul Rahim. The music is composed by Ifti.
