Teja Sajja's Hanu-Man grossed five million dollars in the US market

Actor Teja Sajja’s superhero film Hanu-Man has achieved another remarkable accomplishment at the US box office.

The film has joined an elite club of Indian films by achieving the rare feat of crossing the five-million-dollar gross. It is the fifth Indian film to achieve the feat.

Produced by Prime Show Entertainment, Hanu-Man was directed by Prashant Varma.

What sets Hanu-Man apart is that the pan-India movie accomplished the milestone solely through normal ticket pricing at the box office.

It has to be noted that all other Sankranthi films associated with big stars, including Guntur Kaaram, Saindhav, and Naa Saami Ranga had premium ticket pricing.

The success of Hanu-Man is not limited to the US box office. Indeed, the movie became a sensation across the globe.

Hanu-Man has already surpassed a monumental one crore footfall and breached the ₹250 crore gross mark.

Originally conceived as a small film, with lesser lesser-known star cast, the superhero flick has defied expectations and created waves.

Now, all eyes are on the release of the film’s second part Jai HanuMan, which Prashant Varma started working on.

Meanwhile, Zee5 procured the OTT rights for the film. It is likely to be premiered on the digital space on 16 or 17 February.
