A still from the song Cheppave Chirugali in the film Okkadu

Cheppave Chirugali”, one of the most iconic numbers in the Telugu film industry, might greet Mahesh Babu fans soon in Guntur Kaaram.

The song from Mahesh Babu’s iconic movie Okkadu (2003) holds a special place, thanks to the timeless composition by Mani Sharma and the magical chemistry between Mahesh and Bhoomika in 2003.

Now, Mahesh himself is singing the same song, bringing a new twist to the melody originally sung by Udit Narayan.

Surprisingly, there won’t be a remix of the song “Cheppave Chirugali”. Instead, Mahesh Babu is set to sing the song in his own voice for the movie Guntur Kaaram.

In a scene where he tries to impress the heroine, Mahesh will showcase his singing talent by rendering the first two lines of “Cheppave Chirugali” in his unique style.

Reports suggest that this scene will be a treat for fans, and Mahesh’s stylish rendition of the song is expected to captivate them.

Even before the release of the theatrical trailer, the UK bookings for Guntur Kaaram have kicked off with an impressive start.

Within the initial 24 hours, the movie sold over 1,000 tickets. The most recent update indicates that the Mahesh Babu starrer has surpassed 3,000 ticket sales in the region, and this noteworthy achievement comes nearly three weeks ahead of the film’s release.

Once the trailer is unveiled, there is expected to be a significant surge in ticket sales. Until now, the film team has released a couple of songs, with the first one receiving a positive response.

However, opinions on the second single have been mixed, with some fans expressing their dissatisfaction.
