German actress Suzanne Bernert joined the team of Yatra 2, a sequel to the hit film Yatra (2019). It is directed by Mahi V Raghav.
The makers of Yatra 2 dropped an update on Tuesday, 7 November, stating that Suzanne Bernert is playing Sonia Gandhi in the film.
They also unveiled the character poster of the actress from the movie.
Suzanne Bernert did a few commercials and has also been featured in Hindi films, web Series, and TV Serials.

While Yatra depicted the life and times of former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, his padayatra and his ambitious political career, audiences are curious about Yatra 2.
Jointly produced by Three Autumn Leaves, V Celluloid and Shiva Meka, the film has Malayalam superstar Mammootty playing the role of Rajasekhara Reddy.
Kollywood Star Jiiva will be playing YSR’s son and the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The shooting is currently underway.
Madhie is the cinematographer and Santosh Narayanan is the music director.
Yatra was made based on the walkathon of YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The film turned out to be a massive success as it brought back the memories of the most revered personality of Andhra Pradesh politics — YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
It is learnt that Yatra 2 narrates the journey of YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his road to chief ministership while exploring the political landscape in the region from the period between 2009 and 2019.
Yatra 2 will be released next year on the same date as Yatra — 8 February.
