Teaser launch in graveyard, makers give quirky-touch to film promotions

As a continuation of that movie, a sequel is being made where the story begins after nearly 10 years.

Kona Venkat, who wrote the story for Geethanjali and also produced it, is now bankrolling the sequel along with MVV Satyanarayana.

Director Siva Turlapati is helming Geethanjali Malli Vachindi.

The film was not much in the news even after the announcement of the shooting. However, the team decided to start the promotion in the most quirky manner. As a part of it, they planned to launch the teaser inside a graveyard, and more importantly during dusk.

The crematorium at Begumpet is the venue for the event to be held on Friday, 23 February at 7 pm.

It seems that the makers of Geethanjali Malli Vachindi also made good arrangements inside the graveyard.

Meanwhile, the teaser launch in the graveyard apparently built up curiosity among the audience.

Netizens started sharing their views on the event. A social media user jocularly commented the devil chief of the cemetery might have received the invitation for the event.
