A galaxy of stars made up of legendary international cricketers and sandalwood actors is set to take centre stage at the third edition of the much-awaited Kannada Chalanachitra Cup.
Initially planned to be played in Mysuru, Kichcha Sudeepa announced on Thursday, 26 January, that the two-day tournament has been shifted to Bengaluru due to security concerns.
“We would have loved to have KCC-3 at Mysuru, but owing to security concerns (of star cricketers and actors), we decided to move the matches from Mysuru to Bengaluru. Our goal is to take KCC to all parts of our state and we would do it shortly,” Sudeepa said.
M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will host the third edition of the KCC on 24 and 25 February 2023.
In this new season, all six teams will feature international cricketers – Chris Gayle, Brian Lara, Suresh Raina, Herschelle Gibbs, Tillakaratne Dilshan, and S Badrinath.

Adding more glamour to the teams are star actors Shiva Rajkumar, Sudeepa, Daali Dhananjaya, Dhruva Sarja, Ganesh, and Upendra.
