The first-look posters of Tovino Thomas’ three forthcoming films were launched on Saturday, 21 January, marking the actor’s birthday.
Tovino Thomas had a decent year in 2022. His movies Vaashi, Naradan, and Dear Friend were accepted well after their OTT premiere. However, these films were not commercial successes.
His recent movie Thallumala was a super hit and his Minnal Murali received critical acclaim after its premiere on Netflix.
His Vazhakku, with Sanal Kumar Sashidharan, was screened during the International Film Festival of Kerala.
His 2018, directed by Jude Antony, is based on the Kerala floods and has Kunchako Boban, Asif Ali, and Narain in important roles.

Neelavelicham, directed by Aashiq Abu, is based on Vaikom Muhammed Basheer’s short story of the same name.
Director A Vincent’s Bhargavi Nilayam, a romantic horror released in 1964, was also based on the same short story. Neelavelicham is a new-age adaptation of this old movie.
Interestingly, Tovino Thomas’ birthday and that of the late writer (Basheer) fall on 21 January.
In the poster, a bespectacled Tovino Thomas is seen wearing a white shirt and a dhoti and standing on a verandah surrounded by flowers.
The makers also launched a song, ‘Anuraga Madhuchasagham‘ from the movie.
The movie also features Rima Kallingal, Roshan Mathew, Shine Tom Chacko, and Rajesh Madhavan.
Girish Gangadharan is the cinematographer. Biji Bal and Rex Vijayan are the music directors.

The poster of Tovino’s Nadikar Thilakam was also launched on Saturday. The actor is working with Lal Jr (Junior) for the first time in this project.
The poster looks similar to that of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. However, the movie is touted to be a comedy genre.
Lal Jr is well known for his performance in Driving License and the Honey Bee series. His latest movie Tsunami featured Balu Varghese in a major role.
Nadikar Thilakam also casts Soubin Shahir in a key role. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers who made successful Telugu movies like Pushpa.
The shooting of the movie is expected to start in January.

Ajayante Randam Moshanam casts Tovino Thomas in triple roles. It will be interesting to watch the young actor playing these roles that are expected to be challenging.
The period-action 3D film is directed by Jithin Lal and scripted by Sujith Nambiar. It is expected to narrate the story of robbers as the name suggests, say unconfirmed reports.
Ajayante Randam Moshanam also has Aishwarya Rajesh, Surabhi Lakshmi, and Basil Joseph in major roles. It is produced jointly by UGM Productions and Magic Frames.
