25 days of Kaatera

The Kaatera team is celebrating the successful run of their film for 25 days. Marking the occasion, the farmers association honoured the star actor with the title “Bhoomi Putra” on Friday, 26 January.

Humbled by the gesture of the farmers, Darshan thanked them for their support and for loving his film Kaatera.

“The four main pillars of the Kannada film industry are – Dr Rajkumar, Dr Vishnuvardhan, Dr Ambareesh, and Shankar Nagar. The rest are senior actors, filmmakers, and technicians. We are just a small support,” said Darshan.

Farmers honouring Darshan with the title also came on the sidelines of the 75th birth anniversary of farmer leader and MLA late KS Puttannaiah. His son Darshan Puttannaiah, a farmer leader and MLA (representing the Melukote State Assembly Constituency in Karnataka), was present.
