Nithiin in 'Extra: Ordinary Man'. (X)
The comedy takes centre stage in Nithiin’s latest flick at the box office Extra: Ordinary Man. Director Vakkantham Vamsi skillfully leveraged social media trends to evoke laughter.
One notable moment that is making fans go crazy is when protagonist Abhinay (played by Nithiin) dances alongside heroine Sreeleela.
The old song in the background is Allu Arjun’s iconic theme from Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020).
In another humorous scene, Annapoorna wonders why Balakrishna slaps his fans. Nithiin responds cleverly by saying that fans feel honoured to receive Balakrishna’s blow!
And it is as sweet as “Abbani Thiyyani Deebba” from the film Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari (1990).
These witty punchlines are currently gaining traction on X (formerly Twitter).

There is a direct mention of Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna for obvious reasons. There is also a reference to Allu Arjun’s most-celebrated song Julayi (2012).
The most daredevilry act in the film happens to be taking the names of Pavitra Lokesh, her husband Naresh VK, and his mom and veteran star late Vijayanirmala.
Nithiin again takes the reference to his iconic film Jayam (2002). He recreates the song “Evvaru Emanna.. Aagadu Ee Prema..” with the reg flag of Lord Hanuman.
Extra: Ordinary Man stars Nithiin and Sreeleela in the lead. It also casts senior actors Dr Rajasekhar, Sudev Nair, Rao Ramesh, Rohini, Brahmaji, Ajay, Sampath Raj, Harsha Vardhan, Srikanth Iyengar, and Pavithra Lokesh in key roles.
Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy produced it under the banner of Sreshth Movies LLP, Aditya Movies & Entertainments, and Ruchira Entertainments.
Harris Jayaraj composed the music.
