After making an impressive directorial debut with the Kannada film Mundina Nildana (Next Stop/Destination) in 2019, director Vinay Bharadwaj is debuting in Tamil with Sila Nodigalil.
Shot entirely in London, the movie will hit the marquee on 24 November.
The Tamil film is produced by Punnagai Poo Geetha, a popular Malaysian radio personality. She is playing the female lead alongside Richard Rishi and Yashika Aanand in this murder mystery.
Actor-producer Sharmiela Mandre has taken up the role of creative producer of the film.
“After Gaalipata 2 (2022), I discussed this film with Pawan Kumar. Since Pawan was busy with his Malayalam film Dhoomam (2023), he introduced me to Vinay. After that, I happened to watch Mundina Nildana and was so impressed with it. And now, Vinay is helming the Sila Nodigalil,” Mandre said.
Richard Rishi plays cosmetic surgeon Raj Vardhan and Yashika plays a supermodel in the flick.
Punnagai Poo Geetha will be seen as the surgeon’s wife Medha.

A great fan of detective novels, including his favourite Sidney Sheldon and Agatha Christie, Vinay Bharadwaj shares that his Tamil debut is a mystery thriller blended with romance and murder.
“Sila Nodigalil means ‘within a few moments’. It revolves around three characters. The life of a happy couple living in London takes a wild turn after a third person enters their lives. Then happens a murder followed by an intriguing mystery,” he explains.
At least five music directors, including two bands — Masala Coffee and Staccato, composed the music for the film
Sila Nodigalil will be initially released in Tamil and later, in Kannada too.
