Interesting ventures lined up for release in Sandalwood this December

From the biopic of one of the successful businessmen from Karnataka (Vijay Sankeshar) to Shivarjakumar’s Vedha, a few interesting tales are lined up for release this month. Check the December watchlist here:
Vijayananada
Vijayananda, the biopic on the life of one of the most successful businessmen from North Karnataka – Vijay Sankeshwar, is set for release on 9 December in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages.
Directed by Rishika Sharma, the film stars Nihal R in the titular role. National Award winner Gopi Sundar composed the music.
The movie has several surprise elements like Crazy Star V Ravichandran making a guest appearance.
Anant Nag, Bharath Bopanna Ravi Chandran, Prakash Belawadi, Siri Prahalad, Vinaya Prasad, Archana Kottige, and Anish Kuruvilla will feature in this pan-India venture.
Hosa Dinachari marks the directorial debut of Keerthi Shekar and Vyashak Pushpalatha, who also penned the film’s story.
The movie stars Babu Hirannaiah, Aruna Balraj, Deepa Subramanya, Chethan Vicky, Mandara Battalahalli Kavital, Varshah Susana Kurien, Supreeth Gowda, Sri Priya, and Vivek Dev in key roles.
Based on real-life events, the film is releasing on 9 December.
Hat-trick hero Shivarajkumar is collaborating with choreographer-director A Harsha for the fourth time, for Vedha. His previous releases were Bhajarangi, Vajrakaya and Bhajarangi2.
A period drama set in the 1960s, Vedha is releasing in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu on 23 December.
Made under the Geetha Pictures banner in collaboration with Zee Studios, it has Ganvani Lakshman playing the female lead.
Post his onscreen saga on Bengaluru underworld days, actor Dhananjaya’s next is releasing on December 30. Newly married actress Aditi Prabhudheva plays the female lead in Once Upon A Time in Jamaligudda.
Kushal Gowda is the director and Arjun Janya is the music composer.
Prakash Belawadi, Nanda Gopal, Yash Shetty, Bhavana Ramanna, and child artiste Praanya P Rao also feature in this romantic thriller.
