Cyclone Michaung: Sivakarthikeyan donates ₹10 lakh to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund

Sivakarthikeyan cyclone Michaung Relief Fund

Several stars and celebrities from the Tamil film industry have stepped up to lend a helping hand to those in distress because of the havoc caused by the severe cyclonic storm Michaung.

For his part, well-known actor Sivakarthikeyan donated a sum of ₹10 lakh to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Tamil Nadu Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister and actor Udhayanidhi Stalin recently took to platform X to post a picture of Sivakarthikeyan presenting a cheque for ₹10 lakh.

He wrote:” In the aftermath of the Michaung cyclone and the heavy rains that followed it, our party’s government has been carrying out non-stop several relief measures and activities.”

“Showing solidarity with this move of our government, several companies, organisations and individuals have been contributing funds to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund,” Udhayanidhi Stalin added.

“Under these circumstances, actor Sivakarthikeyan, who met me, presented this cheque for Rs 10 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to me. My thanks and love to him. Let us all work together, let us all work to wipe out the misery caused by the great natural calamity,” he added.

Actors Suriya and Karthi have been helping those affected by the floods through their fan clubs. They have been providing essentials to those badly affected by the floods.

Actor Vishal, through his Devi Trust, has also been helping the victims.
