Mollywood actor Dileep’s next film will be based on real-life incidents. Tentatively titled D148, the film has been written and is being directed by Rathish Raghunandan, who made an impressive debut with the film Udal.
The film, which hit the floors on Saturday, 28 January, is being produced by Super Good Films and IFAAR Media. At the launch, Dileep revealed that the film is based on real-life incidents and that was excited to work with the production house.
Tamil actor Jiva, who was also present on the occasion, said that he is representing his father (RB Choudary) and was happy to associate with the movie. The movie has Neetha Pillai, among others, in the lead roles.
Dileep’s latest release Kesu Ee Veedinte Nadhan, directed by Nadhirshah, has hit an OTT platform. However, the film failed due to poor response from the audience.
The promo song of Iratta, a brand new movie by Joju George, was released on Friday.
Iratta, which means double, has Joju George in a dual role. The trailer of Iratta, which was released recently, had been makings of buzz amongst the fans.
The promo song composed by Jakes Bejoy and performed by both Joju George and Benedict Shine has already clocked over 400,000 views on YouTube in less than 24 hours.
Joju George plays the dual role of a police officer in the movie. Iratta is directed by debutant Rohith MG Krishnan.
The movie is produced by Martin Prakkat Films and Appu Pathu Productions. Iratta is slated to release on February 3.
Manjummel Boys is the new movie of Soubin Shahir, directed by Chidambaram. The title poster of the movie was launched online recently.
The movie also features Balu Varghese, Ganapathy, Sreenath Bhasi, and Deepak Paramban, among others.
The movie is produced by Parava Films and the cinematography is done by Shyju Khalid.
Manjummel Boys is the second movie of Chidambaram, whose debut movie, Janeman, turned out to be a massive hit that came as a respite to theatres that were struggling to find their feet after a series of lockdowns enforced during the pandemic.
