Renowned for his memorable portrayal of the character Katraju in Prabhas’ iconic film Chatrapathi (2005), actor Supreet has long held a special place in the hearts of Telugu audiences.
Though he delivered notable performances in subsequent movies alongside star heroes, However, Supreet failed to get recognition. Later, he gradually kept himself away from Tollywood.
Now, it is learnt that he is aspiring to become a filmmaker.
Industry circles have been abuzz with discussions over the past two days regarding Supreet’s directorial venture with Natural Star Nani. No official announcement has been made yet.
Meanwhile, speculation is rife that Supreet is gearing up for something big.
Sources reveal that Natural Star Nani has expressed interest in Supreet’s script. Also, there is a possibility of DVV Entertainment or UV Creations bankrolling the project.
The story is expected to be away from the shades of Nani’s Dasara (2023) and the upcoming film Saripodaa Sanivaaram. The collaboration with Nani will be seen as a stroke of luck for Supreet, given the Natural Star’s market appeal.
However, Nani has an interesting project with Balagam (2023) director Venu Yeldandi before attending Supreet. Venu Yeldandi’s Yellamma offers a fresh and distinct narrative.
