Even as Kaatera, directed by Tharun Sudhir, is in its final stages, Challenging Star Darshan’s 57th venture titled Devil: The Hero was launched on Thursday, 2 November.
Made under the Vaishno Studios banner, Darshan’s latest will be directed by Milana Prakash. He last helmed Darshan in Tarak (2017).
The film team held the muhurta of Devil: The Hero at the Dodda Mahaganapathi Temple in Bengaluru.
After the ceremony, the director revealed the title and announced that Ajaneesh Lokananth of Kantara (2022)-fame will compose the music.
Santhosh Rao Pathaje is the cinematographer for the project.

Darshan is presently busy shooting for Kateera in Gujarat.
Aaradhanaa Ram, daughter of Sandalwood actress and producer late Ramu, is making her debut as heroine alongside Darshan in Kateera.
The Challenging Star recently took a break to launch the trailer of Garadi, a film directed by Yogaraj Bhatt, in which he will be seen making a special appearance.
Produced by Vanaja Patil under Kourva Production House, Garadi features BC Patil Yashas Soorya, Sonal Monteiro, which is set to hit the screens on 10 November.
Known for his straight talk and bold attitude, Darshan, who was in Ranebennur on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava for the release of the Garadi trailer, won the hearts of his die-hard fans with a kind gesture. Darshan invited a woman sitting at the front to release the trailer.
Actor Darshan invited Soumya to the stage by holding his hand and launched the trailer.
