While the reasons for Sudheer Varma's death are yet to be ascertained, director Venky Kudumula hinted that he had died by suicide.
Telugu actor Sudheer Varma, who has acted in movies like Kundanapu Bomma and Second Hand, died under suspicious circumstances in Vishakhapatnam on Monday, 23 January.
The 33-year-old was just making his mark in Tollywood with his acting skills and genial nature.
His last rites were performed in Vizag on Monday afternoon.
While his grieving family members did not speak to reporters, his friends shared with local media that he was a very sensitive person and an amiable guy.
They added that he was going through financial troubles after his father’s death.

“Sometimes the sweetest smiles hide the deepest pain.. We never know what others are going through.. Please be empathetic and just spread love !! [sic]” tweeted the director.
“Miss you Sudheer ! You shouldn’t have done this.. May your soul rest in peace [sic],” he added.

According to the post-mortem report, Sudheer Varma died due to poisoning early in the morning.
Whether he ended his own life by consuming poison or there was some foul play is yet to be determined.
The Vishakapatnam police have filed a case in this regard and are investigating the matter.
Sudheer Varma hailed from Visakhapatnam.
He made his debut as a hero with Second Hand in 2013. He shared screen space with Dhanya Balakrishna, Sree Vishnu, Kireeti Damaraju, and others in this romantic comedy directed by Kishore Tirumala.
Later, he rose to fame with Kundanpu Bomma, released in 2016. He shared screen space with Chandini Choudhary and Sudhakar Komakula in this film.
The comedy film had music composed by Golden Globes winner MM Keeravani.
Besides movies, Sudheer Varma also starred in the web series Shootout at Alair. Seasoned actors Prakash Raj, Sreekant and others were part of this web series.
Actors Kireeti Damaraju, Sudhakar Komakula, Chandini Choudhary and others expressed shock and grief over Sudheer’s untimely death.
