Director Atlee’s commercial entertainer Jawan, featuring Bollywood Badshaah Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayanthara in the lead roles, continues its magical run at the box office.
It has now crossed the ₹500-crore mark in a matter of just four days, thus shattering yet another record to become the film with the highest weekend collection ever in the history of Indian cinema.
The movie, which made a worldwide gross of ₹129.6 crore on its opening day, continued to get better and better. It made a worldwide gross of ₹520.74 crore in a matter of just four days, much to the delight of the film’s unit.
Confirming the numbers, Jawan director Atlee, tweeted, ” Your love for Jawan has clearly made history in Indian Cinema!” He shared a poster that confirmed the film had already gone past the ₹520.74 crore mark. It read,” Rewriting History at the box office. Highest weekend collection ever!”

Released on 7 September, Jawan shattered another record on day three (9 September). It made a whopping worldwide gross of ₹144.22 crore in a single day!
Sources close to the unit claim that no other Indian film has made so much in a single day.
