Tollywood is currently experiencing a transition with a new generation of actors taking centre stage. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s fans have been eagerly anticipating the entry of his successor, Mokshagna Teja into the Telugu film industry.

Speculations have been rife for the past three years about Mokshagna’s acting debut, but no official announcement has been made yet.

The latest buzz suggests that Balakrishna has selected Sreeleela as the female lead for his son’s debut film.

Recently, the veteran actor mentioned that his son would debut in approximately a year. However, the question of the female lead remained unanswered until now.

It is learnt that Balakrishna finalised Sreeleela to play the lead role in Mokshagna’s upcoming movie.

During the shooting of Bhagavanth Kesari, Balakrishna was impressed by Sreeleela’s acting prowess, respect for elders, and ability to harmonise with everyone on set.

Balakrishna reportedly issued a “gentle warning” to Sreeleela where he emphasised that she should be committed to her dates without any excuses!
