Amid the cacophony of “secret” wedding rumours, actors Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth have shared the news of their engagement on social media.
They shared a photo of them flaunting their rings on their Instagram handles on Thursday, 28 March.
The couple wrote: “E. N. G. A. G. E. D.” While Aditi wrote, “He said YES”, Siddharth wrote, “She said YES”.
On Wednesday, 27 March, several local news media, and other national media claimed that both actors tied the knot in a “secret” ceremony at the Sri Ranganayakaswamy Temple Mandapam in Srirangpuram in the Wanaparthy district of Telangana.
Though the duo have not explicitly announced the place of their engagement ceremony, the location tag on their Instagram posts says, “Near Srirangpuram, Wanaparthy.”

Aditi Rao Hydari not attending the release date announcement of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mangum Opus Heeramandi has also added to the speculation.
The duo collaborated for the Telugu film Maha Samudram (2021) during which, rumours of their dating started.
While Aditi Rao Hydari will be next seen in the web series Heeramandi, Siddharth was last seen in the critically acclaimed Chittha.
Aditi Rao Hydari belongs to a royal family. Her father Eshan Hydari had connections with the erstwhile Hyderabad state, and her mother Vidya Rao is a classical singer coming from the royal family of Wanaparthy.
