Actress Amala Paul, who got engaged on her 32nd birthday last month, wed Jagat Desai, a professional from the hospitality and tourism industry, on Sunday, 5 November.
It was an intimate ceremony organised in Kochi and was attended by only their family members and close friends.
Jagat Desai, who is from Goa and the Head of Sales at Scilla Villas, had proposed to Amala in a romantic fashion, and the actress had said “yes” to his proposal.
Taking to social media, both Amala and Jagat posted pictures of their wedding on Sunday evening.
While Jagat wrote, “Two souls, one destiny, walking hand-in-hand with my divine feminine, for the rest of this lifetime. #married #twinflame.”
Amala, for her part, wrote, “Celebrating the love & grace that brought us together… Married to my divine masculine… Seeking your love and blessings.”

This is Amala Paul’s second wedding. Her first marriage was to well-known director Vijay in the year 2014.
However, a difference of opinion cropped up between Amala and Vijay and as a result, the couple parted ways in 2016.
Eventually, they got divorced in 2017.
