Icon star Allu Arjun has expressed his interest in collaborating with director Atlee. The news got enough traction, especially after the success of the Bollywood blockbuster Jawan (2023).
The strong bond between Atlee and Allu Arjun has added to the speculation.
Atlee who directed some blockbuster hits like Mersal (2017) and Raja Rani (2013) is expected to start filming the film in October or November 2024.
It is learnt that Atlee is seeing Allu Arjun as the frontrunner for his next venture.
The commencement of the shooting depends on various factors. Of course, the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule will be a significant consideration.
The film, directed by Sukumar, is scheduled for release worldwide on 15 August, 2024.
Atlee’s home production banner, A for Apple Studios, will be bankrolling the film, with the Telugu technicians handpicked from the Telugu states.
As a producer, Atlee has another interesting project that will have actor Keerthy Suresh for a Hindi movie headlined by Varun Dhawan. This one is an official remake of Thalapathy Vijay’s Theri (2016).
