Actor Ajith Kumar is likely to take a two-year break from films after wrapping up his upcoming project with director Vignesh Shivan, according to sources.

The Tamil superstar, sources say, is keen on preparing for an international bike racing circuit. He is also planning to go on biking expeditions across the globe.

Meanwhile, it has been learnt that Boney Kapoor will be producing Ajith-Vignesh’s untitled film. He is producing Ajith-H Vinoth’s forthcoming movie Thunivu.

In an interesting development, photos of the actor with a white handkerchief tied across his face surfaced on social video on Sunday, 16 October. The actor was seen sitting atop a production van at Anna Salai and in front of the LIC building in Chennai.

Hundreds of fans who rushed to both spots were disappointed on finding that it was not Ajith but his body double.

Meanwhile, on Monday morning, the superstar arrived in Chennai from Thailand. He was seen shaking hands with police officers on duty.

For Pongal, Ajith’s Thunivu will clash with Vijay’s Varisu, helmed by Telugu director Vamshi. In 2014, Vijay-Mohanlal’s Jilla was released on the same day as Ajith’s Veeram, which became a blockbuster hit.
