10 years of 'Legend': Balakrishna turns nostalgic

Legend, one of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s most-celebrated films, has completed 10 years.

Commemorating the milestone, the film team gathered at an event in Hyderabad on Thursday night, 28 March, and celebrated “10 years of Legend“.

The celebrations held special significance as the Telugu movie is set for a worldwide re-release on Friday, 29 March.

At the anniversary fete, Balakrishna expressed his confidence that his forthcoming project would surpass all the expectations of audiences.

The veteran actor stated that the success of his films speaks louder than words.

Legend remains a masterpiece in my career. It has been discussed for generations by cinephiles,” Balakrishna said.

The actor praised director Boyapati Srinu’s filmmaking and the treatment that he gave to the story, which struck a chord with audiences.

Legend earns distinction for running 1,116 days in theatres, and no other film could surpass the feat in Tollywood until now.

Referring to their past collaboration Simha, Balakrishna highlighted the recent success of ‘Akhanda’ made fans overjoyed with a meaningful message in the story.

The actor is presently engrossed in an action-packed entertainer helmed by Bobby — NBK109.

He will hop on to his next film, to be helmed by Boyapati Srinu, upon completion of NBK109.

Balakrishna is expected to take some time out to campaign for his party during the forthcoming Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. Later, he may be actively involved in film shoots.
