Pawan Kalyan new home Mangalagiri

Jana Sena chief and actor Pawan Kalyan seems to be in a mood to shake off the part-time politician tag the YSRCP has attached to him.

With Andhra Pradesh going to the polls next year, Pawan Kalyan recently shifted his base from Hyderabad to Mangalagiri, a major suburb of Vijayawada in Guntur, where his party is headquartered.

Ever since his foray into politics, his rivals have branded him as a part-time politician busy in movies. It was also alleged that he gave his call sheet to political activities, even to TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu. Though not true, the rivals’ attempt is to portray him as a non-serious politician.

Perhaps in a bid to nullify the criticism, Pawan Kalyan shifted to Mangalagiri since his focus is on Andhra Pradesh. The actor-politician also vacated a house he had taken on rent in Vijayawada’s upmarket Patamata area.

Pawan Kalyan used to stay at Patamata whenever he visited Andhra Pradesh from Hyderabad.

However, now a separate house has been constructed on two acres, where Jana Sena’s headquarters is also located. The house is equipped with all amenities befitting a star actor.

During the previous poll season, he was hardly at Patamata, and mainly operated from his Hyderabad residence. But this time he is also asking his film producers, directors, and writers, to visit Mangalagiri for discussions. He has also suggested they plan movie schedules in and around Mangalagiri so that he can balance both politics and movies.

Pawan Kalyan has decided to visit Hyderabad only if he has any unavoidable shooting schedules. It is learnt that he dubbed for the movie, Bro, during one of Varahi Vijaya Yatra programmes. Dubbing equipment was brought to him while he was undertaking the yatra.
