Former MP from Nizamabad, Kavitha, daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, and the current MP who trounced her in 2019, Dharmapuri Arvind, have been hogging the limelight.

Arvind alleged that Kavitha was in touch with BJP and Congress leaders to shift loyalties and, in turn, the chief minister’s daughter warned the MP that she would slap him in public if he continued attacking her without basis. Angry followers of Kavitha attacked Arvind’s house in Hyderabad even as she was holding a press conference in the city.

No one knows who got in touch with whom, and the wheels within wheels, but this was yet another episode where the Congress had nothing to say.

If readers are wondering what the hidden message in all this is, it is this: The TRS and BJP will keep the pot boiling and continue to occupy the political space, diminishing the Congress in the process.

After Arvind and Kavitha slammed each other, the MP told his media friends: “What do I lose? It’s a loss for the insurance company as the house and cars have been covered.”
