BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan

It was Eid al-Adha (Bakrid) and Chamrajpet MLA and Housing Minister BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan was in a generous mood. He decided to send a gift to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. As he knew that the Kuruba leader loves meat, Ahmed instructed his staff to send a decent number of mutton biryani boxes to the chief minister’s residence.

Unknown to the MLA, his staff packed the biriyani boxes into an autorickshaw and dispatched them to the chief minister’s house.

Not so surprisingly, the autorickshaw was stopped and checked by security personnel at the chief minister’s residence. Though the staff member accompanying the autorickshaw explained the packets contained mutton biryani sent by MLA Zameer Ahmed, the securitymen refused the auto entry as they no information about any such delivery.

When the autorickshaw returned the MLA’s office, a surprised Ahmed questioned the staffer who accompanied the biryani and learnt that he had taken the delicious consignment in a humble autorickshaw, which was not allowed entry into the CM’s residence.

Quickly grasping the problem, Ahmed got the biriyani loaded into a Mercedes Benz.

When the car drove up to the Siddaramaiah’s house, there was no trouble at all. After a routine check, the car was waved in and the the biryani boxes were duly distributed.
