KTR blasts Bandi Sanjay

Bandi Sanjay Kumar, KT Rama Rao.

BJP general secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar left for the US on Friday, 1 September, even as BRS working president KT Rama Rao has extended his whirlwind tour of the US.

In Delhi, Congress senior leader Rahul Gandhi, too, was preparing for a five-day trip to Belgium, Norway, and France.

Leaders of mainstream political parties jetting off to foreign shores ahead of elections has long ceased to be a coincidence. They interact with the Indian diaspora, seeking their support in the electoral battlefield.

While many believe that politicians seek financial help from the diaspora, it’s actually their influence and family ties back home that parties are interested in.

Bandi Sanjay’s 10-day itinerary includes addressing the American Progressive Telugu Association on its 15th anniversary on Sunday, 3 September, and interactions with NRIs in Washington, DC, New York, New Jersey, and Dallas. He will explain in detail the importance of bringing the BJP to power in Telangana.

BJP-leaning NRIs are likely to bond with the leader and consider means to help the party in Telangana. How they do it is left to them. But no one seems to be raising the “Make in India” slogan.
