Quantum valley to rise in Amaravati within six months, says AP IT Minister Lokesh

In a bid to place Andhra Pradesh on the global technology map, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh announced that Quantum Valley, a cutting-edge tech ecosystem, will be launched in Amaravati within the next six months.

Speaking at a high-profile roadshow in Bengaluru’s Embassy Business Park alongside leaders from top Global Capability Centers (GCCs), Lokesh highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s rapid progress in frontier technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing.

“This is the right time to invest in Andhra Pradesh,” Lokesh declared, noting that the state is working in partnership with tech giants like TCS, IBM, and L&T. He described Quantum Valley as a “game changer in the Indian technical revolution,” aimed at transforming the AP capital into a Silicon Valley-style innovation hub.

The minister also underlined Visakhapatnam’s emergence as an IT powerhouse.

The event saw participation from senior executives of major companies, including Rolls-Royce, JC Penney, Lulu Lemon, Jaguar Land Rover, and others. Lokesh reiterated that Andhra Pradesh is open for business and ready to lead in next-generation technologies.
