Synopsis: The accused expressed anger on Nagamani for delay in bringing water while having lunch. When she brought water, Rajababu shouted on his mother and in a fit of rage, he smashed her head against a wooden table causing severe injury.
In an inhuman act, a youth, Rajababu, reportedly beat his mother, Penta Nagamani (46), to death for not fetching water immediately, in Pithapuram Town in Kakinada district, on 9 June.
The couple Nagamani and Trimurthulu, were staying in Chitrada in the town with Rajababu. The victim’s husband is a vegetable seller.
The accused expressed anger on Nagamani for delay in bringing water while having lunch. When she brought water, Rajababu shouted on his mother and in a fit of rage, he smashed her head against a wooden table causing severe injury.
She was rushed to a hospital in Kakinada, where she died on Sunday (June 21), while undergoing treatment.
The Pithapuram police registered a case and Circle Inspector Srinivas is investigating the case.
