Amid the speculations of a rift among the NDA partners in Andhra Pradesh, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, who had just returned from a four-day temple tour in Kerala, attended an event organized by the NTR Trust for thalassemia patient relief on the evening of Saturday, 15 February.

The public camaraderie displayed between the alliance partners at the event put to rest any speculation regarding tensions within their political alliance.

Upon arrival, Pawan Kalyan was warmly welcomed by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his son, Minister Lokesh, who accompanied him to the venue.

During his speech, Pawan Kalyan lauded Chandrababu Naidu for his tireless efforts in public service and commended Lokesh for his vision of transforming education in Andhra Pradesh. The actor-politician also praised the NTR Trust’s ongoing work for thalassemia patients, highlighting the organization’s significant contributions to the cause.

In a generous surprise gesture, Pawan Kalyan donated a sum of ₹50 lakh towards the thalassemia relief efforts, further emphasizing his commitment to supporting the cause.

Following the event, Pawan Kalyan took to social media to express his appreciation. In a tweet posted on X, he wrote: “Had a great time participating in the musical event organized for thalassemia patients by ‘NTR Memorial Trust’ headed by Madam Nara Bhuvaneswari garu. My wholehearted thanks to Hon. CM @ncbn garu and @naralokesh garu for making me a part of this event. My best wishes to @MusicThaman and his team for their entertaining and energetic performance.”

IT Minister Lokesh also tweeted his gratitude: “Special thanks to the Deputy Chief Minister @PawanKalyan who came forward to help with ₹50 lakh to help Thalassemia victims.”
