Nara Lokesh declares assets worth nearly ₹542.7 crore; Pawan Kalyan, Vijayasai Reddy file nominations

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, and senior YSRCP leader V Vijayasai Reddy on Tuesday, 23 April, filed their nomination for the Anakapalli Assembly constituency and Nellore Lok Sabha seat respectively.

Actor-politician Kalyan, whose Jana Sena is an NDA partner in the southern state, was accompanied by local party leaders while filing his nomination papers.

“Pawan Kalyan filed his nomination as Pithapuram Assembly (constituency) candidate,” said a Jana Sena post on X.

Lokesh assets

TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh has declared his family assets worth nearly ₹542.7 crore.

Lokesh is in the Assembly poll fray from Mangalagiri segment in Andhra Pradesh where he is set to take on YSRCPcandidate M Lavanya.

Lokesh declared ₹373.63 crore as his family assets in the 2019 Assembly polls.

The TDP leader holds over one crore shares of Heritage Foods Ltd floated by his family worth ₹339.11 crore at ₹337.85 apiece.

His wife Brhamani is currently Executive Director of Heritage Foods.

According to the affidavit, Lokesh holds ₹314.68 crore worth of movable and ₹92.31 crore worth of immovable assets while Brahmani has ₹45.06 crore and ₹35.59 crore assets respectively.

Accompanied by family members, Vijayasai Reddy filed his nomination.

“I filed my nomination for Nellore Parliamentary constituency today at Nellore district collector’s office. I wholeheartedly thank party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for giving me this great opportunity,” he said in a post on X.
