In Tirupati, TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP candidates secured a majority of divisions; in Chittoor, Vizianagaram, and Ongole, alliance candidates similarly built strong leads and won a majority of seats. The alliance also made significant gains in Kadapa, a municipal corporation located in YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s home district, while the TDP emerged as the dominant force in both Nellore and Kurnool.

Meanwhile, Jana Sena candidates secured key mayoral victories, with Shaik Abdul Abida winning in Machilipatnam and Reddy Appalanaidu taking victory in Eluru. In Anantapur, however, YSRCP candidate B.C. Ramesh Goud won the mayoral election.

Alliance performs well in municipalities
