APPSC notifies 892 vacancies across departments, including 163 Group-I posts

Synopsis: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) on Tuesday issued 20 notifications to fill 892 provisional vacancies across various departments, including 163 Group-I posts. Other openings include posts in the Pollution Control Board, Horticulture, Forensic Science Laboratory and welfare departments.

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) on Tuesday, 15 September issued 20 notifications to fill 892 provisional vacancies in various departments, including 163 posts in Group-I Services.

Group-I Services has the highest number of vacancies, with applications scheduled to be received from 6 to 27 October.

The vacancies include 40 Assistant Environmental Engineer posts in the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board and 37 Horticulture Officer posts in the AP Horticulture Service.

The AP State Forensic Science Laboratory Service has eight Assistant Director posts across the Forensic Engineering, Physics, Chemistry and Biology divisions.

The BC Welfare Department has 29 Hostel Welfare Officer Grade-II posts, while the Social Welfare Department has 21 and the Tribal Welfare Department 23. Applications for these posts will be accepted from 9 to 29 October.

Other vacancies

The AP Tribal Welfare Service has six Assistant Tribal Welfare Officer posts and one Assistant Director post. The AP Social Welfare Service has 11 Assistant Social Welfare Officer posts.

The AP Economics and Statistical Subordinate Service has 196 Assistant Statistical Officer posts. The AP Economics and Statistical Service has 17 Assistant Director posts. Together, these two notifications cover 213 posts.

The AP Factories Service has 12 Inspector of Factories posts, while the AP Pollution Control Board has 18 Analyst Grade-II posts.

The AP Legislature Services has 10 English Reporter posts and one Telugu Reporter post.

The AP Endowments Subordinate Service has 104 Executive Officer Grade-III posts. The AP Juvenile Welfare Correctional Subordinate Service has 15 District Probation Officer Grade-II/Intake Probation Officer posts.

The AP Industries Subordinate Service has 78 Industrial Promotion Officer posts, and the AP Women Development and Child Welfare Subordinate Service has 29 Supervisor Grade-I posts.

The AP Forest Subordinate Service has 26 Forest Section Officer posts, 20 Draughtsman Grade-II (Technical Assistant) posts and 23 Forest Beat Officer posts. The AP Forest Service has four Forest Range Officer posts. The four forest categories together account for 73 vacancies. Across the 20 notifications, the APPSC has notified 892 provisional vacancies.
