Synopsis: In Friday’s wrap of news and developments in Andhra Pradesh— Sub-Inspector (SI) Devi was physically assaulted and abused by a group of intoxicated youths at the Gudivada village fair in Vizianagaram.
In a disturbing incident, a woman Sub-Inspector (SI), Devi, was physically assaulted and abused by a group of intoxicated youths at the Gudivada village fair in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh.
The miscreants, allegedly under the influence of marijuana, pulled her hair and hurled verbal abuses. Overwhelmed by the attack, the officer had to flee for safety.
Nine suspects have been arrested, while one remains absconding. Authorities have launched a probe into the incident.
