Synopsis: Cabinet announced 14 major investment proposals covering solar, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food processing, biofuels, glass manufacturing, women MSME parks, multi-product industrial parks and more. The combined investment exceeds ₹15,000 crore and is expected to create over one lakh direct and indirect jobs.
The Andhra Pradesh cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the Secretariat in Amaravati on Thursday, 11 December, approved decisions covering Municipal and Urban Development, Water Resources, Finance, Tribal Welfare, Social Welfare, Home Affairs, Industries and Commerce, IT/Electronics and C, Infrastructure and Investments, Youth, Tourism and Culture, Revenue, Energy among others.
The decisions include:

The combined investment exceeds ₹15,000 crore and is expected to create over one lakh direct and indirect jobs.
Approval has been granted for 11 projects focused on quantum computing, electronics manufacturing, and IT campuses — including seven quantum projects (Amaravati Quantum Valley), one electronics manufacturing project (Nayudu Peta) and three IT campuses (Visakhapatnam).
Total investment of ₹1,421.2 crore and 3,057 direct jobs are expected.
Cabinet also approved allotting 153.77 acres near Tettu Railway Station to M/s Ramayapatnam Cargo Reception Terminal Pvt. Ltd. (New Delhi) for a multi-modal rail cargo terminal.
The Cabinet has approved the allotment of 29.58 acres of land at the Juvvaladinne Fishing Harbour in Bogolu mandal, SPSR Nellore district—including 7.58 acres of waterfront land and 22.00 acres of harbour land—to M/s Sagar Defence Engineering Pvt. Ltd. for establishing an Autonomous Maritime Shipyard & Systems Centre.
To facilitate this allotment, the harbour land will be transferred from the Fisheries Department to the AP Maritime Board (APMB). The approved lease terms include a lease fee fixed at 6 percent of the Fair Market Value determined by the District Collector, a 5 percent annual escalation, and a 50 percent additional premium on the waterfront portion. All land allocation will adhere to APMB guidelines.
The approved tourism package covers four hotel and hospitality projects with a combined investment of about ₹784.39 crore, expected to generate 4,302 jobs (including 1,402 direct and 2,900 indirect jobs).
These projects include world-class branded hotels, convention centres and premium resorts proposed in Visakhapatnam, Bapatla and Tirupati.
All projects will be eligible for incentives under the AP Tourism Policy 2024–29.
The Cabinet has approved the lease transfer of 45.00 acres of land in YSR Kadapa district—comprising 5.00 cts in Kondapuram, 10.00 CTS (City Survey Number) in Chamaluru, and 30.00 CTS in T. Koduru—to NREDCAP and M/s Hetero Wind Power (Pennar) Pvt. Ltd. for the development of a 27 MW wind power project.
The Cabinet has also approved the allotment of land to M/s Chinta Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. for a large-scale solar power project.
The terms include leasing revenue land for Pumped Storage Projects for captive consumption use at ₹31,000 per acre for 30 years, with a 5 percent escalation every two years.
The project will be developed in phases through SPVs or related entities, with a target to commission the proposed solar capacity within 24 months. Incentives for the project will be expanded as part of the approval.
