Director Domin DSilva’s Regina (Sunaina) is a woman-centric revenge thriller that is full of twists, some of which would manage to impress you.

She places her faith in the legal system and makes regular visits to the local police station. However, when she realises that the cops are not serious, she decides to track the robbers herself.

Regina gets off to a shaky start. The fable of a lion being narrated to us and the scene where Regina breaks down at the police station, everything seems out of place and exaggerated.

Entertainment

Also, there is an extended sequence of Regina seducing Julie (Rithu Mantra), the wife of one of the assailants involved in the attack. This brings down the intensity factor.

Entertainment

Sunaina, who is known to be an exceptionally talented actress, comes up with a performance that is part impressive and part disappointing in this film.

Entertainment

One actor who stands tall because of his performance in this film is Dheena. He delivers a towering performance in the limited time that he comes on screen.

Entertainment

Vivek Prasanna, who has been seen in almost all films in recent times, plays his part with confidence in this one, too.

Entertainment

Nevertheless, Regina works as an entertainer. It might not entertain you from start to finish, but it certainly has its moments.
