Gayatri’s father is a pilot and her mother is a psychologist. Her tryst with the fashion world happened when she was seven. Her fascination for cinema happened unknowingly.
“Director Vamsee narrated my character for three hours. I got emotional after the narration. Later, I learned that 60 female actors auditioned for the role.”
“It was quite a challenging task to play a village girl. Director Vamsee and my co-star Ravi Teja garu have taken up the task of training me to get the right expressions,” she recalled.
“Only after working on the film, I came to know the real-life story of Nageswara Rao. The real-life thief had left an imprint even in Delhi during those times,” Gayatri Bhardwaj added.
Tiger Nageswara Rao is a real-life story of Nageswara Rao, from Andhra Pradesh’s Stuartpuram area, who was involved in robberies, jewellery thefts, and bank heists during the 70s and 80s.
