Actor Kartikeya Gummakonda’s Bedurulanka 2012 is releasing on 25 August. The film is about the doomsday apocalypse a decade ago in a small rural hamlet named Bedurulanka.
The RX 100 actor admitted that he was a huge fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi. Kartikeya revealed that it was the Megastar who made him more responsible towards the work.
“Other than films, I wouldn’t feel responsible for any work. It would keep my parents bothered. But now, they keep wondering how an irresponsible brat like me is doing films.”
The actor was recognised for his potential for the Tamil flick Valimai (2022). He added that despite receiving 3 offers post the film’s success he rejected them all as none excited him.
Directed by Clax, Bedurulanka 2012 boasts an ensemble cast. Neha Shetty plays the love interest of Kartikeya. LB Sriram, Ajay Ghosh, Satya, and more will be seen in key roles.
RX 100 was an unexpected range of success. It was quite tough handling the success. Now, I hope Bedurulanka 2012 will meet the expectations of audiences,” Kartikeya signed off.
