Nivin Pauly’s upcoming film Malayalee From India is all set for release on 1 May. Director Dijo Jose Antony helmed the project.

Nivin Pauly plays the role of Aalparambil Gopi in Malayalee From India. The actor claims that the audience will find his character quite relatable.

“I did the movie because I felt that every Malayalee would find the story relatable. It has many emotions and is set against the backdrop of a village,” shared the actor.

He also added that he gave a green signal to Malayalee From India since the story dealt with a serious issue and had a generous dose of humour, which was not seen in recent films.

Director Dijo Jose Antony said the story, penned by scriptwriter Sharis Mohammed, will have many elements that instantly connect with the viewers.

“I was able to capture the acting talent of Nivin Pauly in the movie and could explore his serious side, too,” he added.
