Malayalam actor Shane Nigam approached the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) on 27 April, and refuted the charges.

According to Shane, he initially wasn’t interested to do RDX but he signed the film after the director insisted on casting him and also assured him that he is the lead.

Also a letter mailed by Shane Nigam to RDX producer Sophia Paul went viral online where he “requested to give importance to his role during marketing, promotion, and branding of the movie”.
