About Thug Life, his forthcoming flick with maverick director Mani Ratnam after their super hit Nayakan, Kamal said he would join the shooting after the Lok Sabha elections.
Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan opted out of the venture due to date clashes. Jayam Ravi is also rumoured to have opted out of the film due to date issues.
When asked whether a hat tip to his old films is a success mantra in the wake of the recent success of the movie Manjummel Boys, Kamal replied that he was happy about that.
